Summary

The Senior Sourcing Specialist is a key member of Weisiger Group's Procurement & Sourcing Group (PSG), responsible for independently executing competitive sourcing events, negotiating supplier agreements, and driving measurable value across multiple indirect spend categories. As Weisiger Group continues its procurement transformation-shifting from decentralized purchasing to a more strategic, category-led operating model-this role plays a critical part in translating strategy into disciplined execution.

In addition to leading sourcing activities, the role actively manages vendor onboarding, compliance, and purchasing execution in SAP for assigned categories, while supporting broader strategic sourcing and category initiatives across the enterprise.

  • Drive category performance and optimization through spend analysis, supplier consolidation, cost reduction and avoidance, specification standardization, and ongoing category-level reporting on spend under management, supplier performance, and contract utilization.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and suppliers to align sourcing strategies to operational needs, service levels, and compliance standards, including participation in supplier reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Actively manage procurement ticket intake for assigned categories, including vendor onboarding, compliance, and SAP vendor master data; evaluate new supplier requests against sourcing strategy and risk; and manage new and existing POs and master data updates to ensure compliant, timely execution.
