Professional Engineering Trainee, PEAK Program (Summer 2026)

The PEAK (ProfessionalEngineering Accelerated Knowledge) Program provides early careerengineers with the opportunity to develop theirengineering skills in a challenging, fast-paced, and impactful manufacturingengineeringrole onsite atTesla'sFremont, California facility. Throughout the program, you will developeitherprocess,quality, equipment, controls or test engineering skills to optimize & sustainour highly advanced manufacturing production line for producing our robotics products.You willembark on a transformative journey to make a real difference and elevate your engineering abilities.

Structure of the PEAK Program: The6-month program will consist of the following components: Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Online Training (OLT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), and engineering projects. The trainingcurriculum is based upon being aQualityEngineer, ProcessEngineer, Equipment Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Test Engineer on our Optimus ManufacturingEngineering team.

• Learn Engineering Principles: Analyze and refine production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in cost effective means while driving to achieve quality levels aligned with Six Sigma (6) principles, development of manufacturing requirements, quality standards and product quality plans to assure product will meet expectations of our target customer
• Support development of manufacturing processes, equipment,controlsand test plans to address risksidentifiedthrough FMEA
• Manage andfacilitateidentifying the root cause & corrective actions of issues through brainstorming, use of lean methodologies, hypothesistestings, design of experiments, etc.
• Troubleshoot andoptimizeTesla's world-class manufacturing equipment through a variety of hands-on learning surrounding automation, including but not limited to Robotics, and PLC programming labs
• Execute Engineering Projects: Using advanced project management and statistical techniques taught in this program, you will bring significant impact to your engineering team and present your results to factory leadership

• Include resume with graduation year for fulltime availability(Must be available to start work onsite at Tesla Fremont, California, in May to September 2026)
• Three examples of exceptionalengineering ability from university projects, internships, work experience, hobbyist experience, or equivalent (Application will have a section for you to include this)
• Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Previousinternship in a manufacturing and/orindustrialautomation environment, 6+ months experience preferred
• Ability to work onsite at Fremont, California facility in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
