Job Description




As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Driver in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team while delivering a caring, people-first approach through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors and/or employees by following post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures, including access control and visitor management.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and notifying site leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor cameras and security-related systems where assigned, document observations, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations through the designated reporting process.
  • Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, support move-in and move-out activity and special events as assigned, and coordinate with property management, maintenance teams, and/or local authorities when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
