Job Description

The Customer Sustainability Operations Lead will influence directly the operationalization strategy of the sustainability initiative for Rockwell's customers. You will engage with the entire organization to build systems that connect within, and use the transformational programs that are happening at Rockwell to accelerate our sustainability strategy. You will join the operations team and connect to the commercial team, partnerships and technical functions, supporting multiple programs to promote change in the team and for the broader organization. You will join a team aiming to push sustainability forward making Rockwell Automation the leading automation partner for clients committed to achieving their sustainability and productivity goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments.
  • Identify volume and strategic customers and develop partnerships.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities.
  • Develop strategic direction using market information and create compelling market analysis presentations.
  • Conduct make-versus-buy analysis from a partnership/acquisition perspective.
    • Execute important deliverables for the customer sustainability team:
    • Performance reports,
    • BI visualizations,
    • BI views specs,
    • Data quality control,
    • Audits for current data systems,
    • Continuous improvement with our commercial operations organization,
    • Jira Algin structure
  • Strategic planning, with insights into business, regional performance, and providing guidance based on your unique POV from data and system awareness.
  • Improve consolidation of multiple sources of data and collaborating with technology teams for data models.
  • Provide enablement, and updates to multiple partners for sustainability within the company.
  • Support the team coordinating the VOC programs across the company.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Engineering, Technology, Business Development, or related field.
  • Experience developing strategic insights based on market analysis, industry trends, or other relevant data sets.
  • Experience building partnerships in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with Excel and Power BI for data processing and reporting.
  • Experience managing CRM solutions and awareness of commercial processes in large organizations.
  • Experience in data analysis using statistical analysis for insights such as forecasting, and outlier identification.
