Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our Arizona and New Mexico operations. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, plants, and yards. The ideal candidate has experience in construction or heavy-equipment hauling, understands jobsite safety expectations, and takes pride in maintaining equipment and meeting delivery schedules. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, lowboys, and/or flatbeds, depending on assignment
Transport construction materials (aggregate, asphalt, concrete, soil, debris) and/or heavy equipment to and from job sites Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with weight, size, and safety requirements Maintain accurate driver logs, load tickets, delivery documentation, and electronic logs (ELDs) as required Communicate effectively with dispatch, superintendents, plant operators, and jobsite personnel Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies, including jobsite safety protocols Assist with loading and unloading when required (may include tarping, chaining, or operating auxiliary equipment) Report vehicle maintenance needs, safety concerns, or jobsite issues promptly Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned equipment Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed based on project demands

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred (construction or heavy hauling experience strongly preferred) Current DOT medical card Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and ongoing random testing as required by DOT Experience operating equipment such as dump trucks, lowboys, flatbeds, or end dumps is a plus Familiarity with construction jobsite environments and safety requirements Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented with strong communication skills
Preferred (but Not Required)
Experience in asphalt, concrete, or civil construction Lowboy or heavy equipment hauling experience
