Job Title: Back End Developer - Fraud Work

Salary: $115-120k/year + comprehensive benefits package

Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust (US citizen/Green Card)

Location: Remote

The Challenge: Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to help build innovative solutions that will address client challenges and deliver business value? As a back-end developer, you can solve a problems in a fast-paced, DevSecOps environment. We're looking for a developer with the skills needed to build web-based systems, microservices, APIs, and integration using streaming platforms from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a back-end developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Using modern Agile Software Development and DevSecOps delivery methodologies you'll work with the development team to modernize, enhance, and maintain solutions. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Skillsets:

Must Have:

  • 2+ years software development
  • Experience with cloud-computing services, specifically Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Terraform and pipeline management.
  • Experience with Java, back-end interface development, including translating requirements into code and implementing mockups
  • Experience with developing API/Microservices-based solutions and integration using platforms like Spring Boot
  • Experience with version control systems, such as git. Perform design and code reviews.
  • Experience with test automation, DevSecOps toolchains, and TDD practices in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility.
  • Experience with continuous integration (CI)/continuous deployment (CD) pipelines and container platforms in private or public cloud environments, using technologies including Amazon ECS, Gitlab
  • Experience writing and executing automated unit tests;
  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Cloud-native development using microservices.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, or performance management
  • Experience with Okta or other similar identity and access management solutions
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
