Description

We are seeking 4 Information System Security Specialist II's to join our dynamic team, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding information systems and supporting our mission to maintain the highest standards of security and compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical cybersecurity initiatives, contribute to security assessments, and ensure the integrity of classified information processing. There are 4 open positions for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of Program Information Assurance (IA) processes, including certification and accreditation (C&A) and assessment and authorization (A&A).
  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet established security requirements for processing classified information.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security controls and procedures.
  • Conduct security assessments, testing, and evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Supervise and maintain operational security measures to ensure ongoing compliance and protection.
  • Collaborate with engineering, testing, and evaluation teams to integrate security requirements into system development and deployment.
  • Maintain documentation related to security assessments, approvals, and compliance activities.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 2 - 5 Years of practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field.
  • Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and/or include prior experience with the Defense Information Assurance & Certification Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
  • Familiarity with security policies & guidance documents to assist with the preparation and maintenance of process artifact.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • High school diploma or HS equivalency certificate is acceptable with additional years of experience as defined.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to starting.
