We are seeking a senior investor to underwrite, originate, structure, and actively manage private corporate opportunities and special situations investments. The successful candidate will lead endtoend execution across complex capital solutions transactionswhile partnering closely with our Investment Committee and crossfunctional teams in legal, risk, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Underwriting & Structuring: Lead comprehensive due diligence, build and audit financial models, assess collateral packages, structure covenants and intercreditor arrangements, and price riskadjusted returns aligned with fund objectives.

  • Origination & Sourcing: Develop and execute proprietary and intermediated sourcing strategies; maintain deep relationships with advisors, banks, legal counsels, and management teams across target sectors/geographies.

  • Portfolio Management: Own postinvestment monitoring, covenant compliance, valuation inputs, risk reporting, and exit planning; proactively manage performance in volatile or eventdriven contexts.

  • IC Governance: Author investment memoranda, present recommendations to the Investment Committee, and steward decisions through governance processes; ensure adherence to risk limits and conflicts policies.

  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Mentor junior investors, coordinate crossfunctional execution, and lead external engagements with management teams, boards, coinvestors, and LPs as needed.

  • Firm & Investor Engagement: Contribute to fundraising, investor diligence, and periodic reporting; support AGM materials and ad hoc LP communications with clear, datadriven narratives.

Requiriments

  • Experience: 12+ years in private credit / special situations, with a track record of originating and leading complex private financings.

  • Background: Training from restructuring advisory, LevFin/HY capital markets, or buyside private credit / special situations; legal/documentation fluency strongly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Expert modelling, covenant analysis, and documentation (credit agreements, intercreditor, security packages, etc); strong Excel and presentation skills.

  • Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead negotiations, influence stakeholders, and present succinctly to investment committees and boards.

  • Education: BA/BS required; MBA/CFA preferred.

  • Other: High integrity, risk discipline, and ability to operate at pace under evolving circumstances; willingness to travel.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 265,000.00 - $ 360,000.00
