Position Summary

This position is contingent upon a contract award.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle of LIMS projects, acting as the key liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and government leadership. The Project Manager will support mission-critical environments and must understand the complexities of LIMS deployments and delivery. Duties include:

  • Leads LIMS implementation from requirements through go-live
  • Responsible for ensuring all requirements are met and all contractor work performed under the PWS is compliant, timely, and within budget
  • Ensures the approved LIMS implementation schedule is followed and maintained
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams (architects, developers, QA, and client stakeholders)
  • Own project plans, financial tracking, risk management, and status reporting
  • Translate technical deliverables into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders
  • Oversee documentation, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and ensure compliance with NIST, ATO, and agency governance
  • Facilitate project reviews, team standups, and executive briefings
  • Support contract oversight with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing complex LIMS projects
  • Experience managing LIMS implementations and deployments with an existing LIMS data migration
  • Experience working with federal/public sector clients in highly regulated federal environments
  • Understanding of NIST 800, GxP, Part 11, and data integrity standards
  • Proven ability to manage teams and client communication
  • Familiarity with Agile/Kanban delivery
  • Preferred background in lab science or lab informatics configuration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Systems, Informatics, or related field
  • PMP certification preferred
