System Integrator

Join Life Cycle Engineering in support of the NCIS IT support services mission headquartered in Quantico, Virginia. The Information Technology Directorate (ITD) supports the NCIS core mission areas to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats by planning for and providing services through appropriate use of the people, equipment, technology, and infrastructure resources of the United States (U.S.) Navy and Marine Corps.

Position Summary:

As a System Integrator you will be responsible for providing a total systems perspective to include a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components. You will work with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, and technicians in the design, testing, and evaluation of systems

Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active Top/SCI Secret Clearance

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze equipment and network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made.
  • Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.



Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in deploying enterprise applications.
  • Meet the requirements of an ITA II per the DoD 8570.01-M, requires minimum of Security Plus certification (Security+) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of virtualization concepts and techniques, clustering, middleware, etc.
  • Knowledge of some of the following: Red Hat, Solaris, Windows Server, Apache (Tomcat, Maven, Ant), VMware, and a variety of system level applications.



Physical Demands and Expectations:

  • Travel will be required to support this task (up to 25% travel)
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
  • Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
  • Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
