Contract Administrator

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking an experienced full-time contract administrator for Firetrol's office in Dallas, Texas.

Under the direction of the District General Manager and Office Manager, this position will be performing administrative functions in accordance with established procedures.

Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee multiple administrative duties, which include:

• Booking of jobs and change orders
• Maintain contract documents and files
• Request COI as needed
• Obtain supporting documents from customers
• Prepare monthly billing worksheets for department managers
• Process monthly AIA payment applications
• Prepare lien waivers as requested
• Prepare job close outs monthly
• Other projects and assignments assigned by the Office Manager and District General Manager

• Other duties as needed

• Attention to detail is a MUST
• 2 to 3 years' experience working with fire protection administration is preferred.
• Superior organizational abilities
• Outstanding professional communication skills - written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills - for interacting with customers and employees alike
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to multiple business software platforms
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience in fire protection or similar role preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains software preferred
