IT Operations Support Specialist

What You Will Do:

  • Provide first line contact for troubleshooting problems with 3D TRASAR and Nalco Water proprietary equipment.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting issues and problems on Ecolab Food & Beverage proprietary equipment.
  • Provide live phone support to field representatives on standard equipment and e-catalog products referencing specifications, product literature, and pricing.
  • Communicate and provide customers with equipment pricing, warranty, and equipment parts utilizing SAP program
  • Track phone calls and emailed support tickets using ticket tracking system
  • Provide technical guidance to product marketers, R&D, and commercialization teams in assigned technology areas.
  • Support team vision, goals, and metrics

Position Details:

  • Location: Naperville, IL
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 1 year of experience in a communications or sales role environment, or alternatively, 1 years of experience in an industrial, mechanical, or electrical environment.
  • Basic understanding of PLC knowledge
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a proven ability to interface positively and professionally with a customer
  • Experience with Gateways and Connectivity on automated systems
  • Troubleshooting experience in electrical or mechanical systems
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Verbal communication skills
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or bachelor's in engineering discipline, or 1-3 years' experience in a related technical field.
  • Troubleshooting experience in electrical or mechanical systems
  • Basic understanding of PLC knowledge
  • Troubleshooting experience in electrical or mechanical systems
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Basic understanding of PLC knowledge
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, etc.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator with experience working across multiple functions
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $60,500.00 - $90,800.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
