CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. The role oversees the data operations team responsible for managing, processing, and analyzing data to support organizational decision-making. They ensure data quality, integrity, and security while optimizing workflows and implementing best practices. This role is to define, design, develop, implement, and maintain the data assets and infrastructure used across the enterprise. They lead the progress of data standards, integration and quality initiates, storage, integration, and performance of data stores both for application and analytics purposes. They direct research and development in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements over the course of the software development lifecycle. They apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help CLA take advantage of its data assessment to maximize CLA's analysis and insight capabilities. How you'll create opportunities in this Data Engineer role: * Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. * Support efforts to ensure performance, reliability, security, and compliance in data engineering solutions. * Collaborate with team members to implement technical direction and contribute to platformlevel decisions. * Participate in delivering releases aligned with business goals, technical standards, and governance policies. * Contribute to improvements in system reliability and maintainability through documentation and code quality practices. * Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. What you will need:
Technical Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Advanced proficiency in programming, such as, Python, R, Snowflake, GitHub, and SQL required.
