Job Summary

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Jr. is responsible for assisting with the creation of BI reports, dashboards and other forms of information designed to gain new insights, monitor key organizational and operational measures, and provide visibility throughout the organization and to our customers of our performance. This position is responsible for assisting with and growing knowledge on building new data sets and data structures as required to support business needs, and for managing the distribution, replication, and archival of data.

What you do?
* Assist with the full lifecycle Business Intelligence (BI) development.
* Manage individual workload and work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects in a fast pace changing environment.
* Work with the team to develop a general understanding of industry trends with a focus on Business Intelligence Participates in completing other department initiatives.
* Collaborate with others to communicate with internal clients in order to understand business processes, gather requirements, and coordinate ongoing iterative development that provides BI solutions that drive effective business and clinical decisions.
* Work to increase skills in analyzing, designing, developing, and documenting BI solutions based on Information Services standards and best practices.
* Collaborate to gain knowledge of organizational system usage and an understanding of system build, workflows, and patterns of use to design, write, validate, and modify reports that meet the needs of the report end users consumers in their respective area/s.
* Coordinate with other developers on the team to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information.
* Collaborate to understand best practices in customer service, product quality, team training, and knowledge transfers.
* Conduct code reviews routinely.
* Collaborate with application analysts, and report end users to analyze, provide specifications for, and write solutions.
* Work with others to analyze, diagnose, and resolve reporting and data issues.

What you bring?
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. A bachelors or masters degree in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or a related STEM field is preferred.
* Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts.
* Ability to read/write SQL and/or Python code.
* PowerBI, Tableau, Python, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience preferred.
