About the Program
Step into the world of mission-critical aerospace technology with Marotta Controls' Spring/Summer 2026 Co-Op Program. As an Electrical Engineering Intern/Co-Op, you'll explore real challenges in design, production, quality, and test engineering while contributing to high-performance aerospace and defense systems. From circuit design to testing and compliance, you'll gain hands-on experience while being mentored by experienced engineers. Your internship will culminate with a project presentation to senior leadership and opportunities to connect with fellow interns across disciplines. Along the way, you'll also network with other interns and employees through professional development and engagement events. Internships are available with a variety of teams across the Power and Actuation Business Unit, design, production, quality, or test/development engineering.
What You'll Do
{C}{C}* Assist in electrical design, validation, and testing of aerospace systems.
{C}{C}* Review and create schematics, wiring harness layouts, and test procedures.
{C}{C}* Support compliance with military and aerospace standards.
{C}{C}* Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and troubleshooting.
{C}{C}* Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring designs into production.
What We're Looking For
{C}{C}* Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering program.
{C}{C}* Strong GPA and performance in electrical systems, circuits, and hardware courses.
{C}{C}* Experience with CAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, OrCAD preferred).
* Firmware/Embedded Software Development is a plus.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to solve real-world challenges.
{C}{C}* U.S. Citizenship required.
{C}{C}* Availability to work full-time onsite beginning January 2026 throughout end of summer 2026.
Work Environment:
{C}{C}* This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).
