Department Overview
The Quality and Value Based Care area strives to develop a "best in class" service model and experience for our senior population. Our team works closely with other associates and business areas that support Medicare Advantage members in an effort to meet and exceed customer expectations and continue driving toward strategic improvement. Primary Responsibilities
The Program Development unit plans, develops, and implements alternative payment models, value-based programs, and various initiatives to support and promote better health outcomes for our members through the healthcare community. These programs aid in controlling costs, improving quality, and operational efficiency for enhanced access to care and better care coordination for our members. Programs managed align to the goals and objectives of the Health Services Division corporate strategies and Medical Cost Committee Planning initiatives. The incumbent plans and directs activities to apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet program requirements. These activities include following standard departmental program templates and/or Project Management Institute methodology to manage programs through the steps of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling programs that address organizational concerns and meet expectations of the department. The incumbent will also help with direct efforts of supporting resources related to assigned programs. The incumbent will serve in a program leadership role and is expected to share knowledge and resources to team members to create a favorable, productive environment. It is critical that the incumbent stays knowledgeable of project/program management techniques and ongoing initiatives throughout the organization. Incumbent must consistently use resources to continuously improve and stay abreast of methodology updates and revisions. The incumbent will operate in a leadership role and interact with all levels of associates within the company, including officers in the evaluation, development, implementation, monitoring, and controlling phase for mid-size to large programs within the Health Services Division. The work schedule for this position will be hybrid (onsite/remote). Business areas reserve the right to require associates to return to the office as needed, based on performance or other business considerations.
