Specifically, we are looking for aTS/SCI cleared Systems Engineer - Senior to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina

Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer - Senior, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:

    Plans and leads on-site systems engineering efforts for critical C2ISR infrastructure, ensuring direct technical expertise and immediate mission-critical capabilities.
  • Drives the strategic development of on-site engineering strategies and procedures for implementing advanced technological solutions.
  • Functions as a technical expert in identifying and evaluating optimal technical, architectural, and systematic paths for C2ISR integration activities, planned expansions, and site activations.
  • Oversees the design, deployment, and verification of complex C2ISR hardware and software systems at various on-site locations, including classified environments.
  • Provides expert guidance to FSRs, project managers, and operational personnel on complex system issues, integration challenges, and technical support best practices.
  • Leads the management and sustainment of secure enterprise cross domains at AISR data dissemination hubs, ensuring seamless and secure data flow.
  • Mentors and supervises journeyman and junior Systems Engineers, fostering skill development and ensuring consistency in solution quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Conducts advanced architectural analysis and design validation, ensuring that on-site implementations align with overall system objectives and performance requirements.
  • Evaluates the overall effectiveness of on-site systems engineering solutions, identifying trends, and recommending major changes to enhance resilience and optimize C2ISR capabilities.
  • Utilize the following TO Management & Financial Tracking Tools: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate); G Invoicing API; ASSIST portal integration; variance analysis dashboards; MS Project; Primavera; GFP management modules; WBS tracking systems; ServiceNow; Jira Service Desk; automated RIP/CTP/TAR workflows; SharePoint libraries; Confluence; Microsoft Search; lessons learned databases; video library repositories; eMASS, Archer GRC; internal audit portals; Excel/SharePoint audit templates; CMDB with version control; Power BI with R/Python integration; Tableau; predictive analytics engines; Teams; Azure AD role based access; mobile access via Power Apps.
  • Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: Systems Integration Lab (SIL); Tri Domain Lab (IL4/IL5/IL6 enclaves with VRF routing, FIPS 140 3/HAIPE crypto, PTP/GPSDO time sync); Golden Test Packs; Test Readiness Review (TRR) frameworks (test matrix, golden data hashes, SLO compliance charts, rollback plans); CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI/CD, DAST, Jenkins, Azure DevOps); automated deployment tools (Ansible, Terraform); automated testing frameworks (Selenium, pytest, JUnit); security scanning tools (SCAP, Nessus, SonarQube); performance testing tools (Apache JMeter, LoadRunner); monitoring dashboards (Prometheus, Grafana); bug tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps); documentation repositories (Confluence, SharePoint).


Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience with a BS/BA degree or 4 years' experience with a MS/MA or 2 years' experience with a Ph.D. OR 10 years without a degree OR 8 years with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required
  • DOD 8140 Compliance based on functional role for WRC: 451 Systems Administrator Intermediate Level/ ability to obtain

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience with a BS/BA degree or 6 years' experience with a MS/MA or 3 years' experience with a Ph.D. OR 10 years without a degree OR 8 years with AS/AA

Work Environment:

  • Location:Pope Army Airfield, NC
  • On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking
  • Travel:May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
