About the position

The Finance Intern (CI - Finance) position at Gulfstream Aerospace is designed for students pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. The intern will work closely with the finance team toassistin various financial projects and processes, including monthly closing for the People and IT teams and reporting for leadership. This roleprovidesan opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting within a leading aerospace company.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the finance team toassistin the monthly closing process, including journal entries and account analysis.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects

  • Assistwith the preparation of gathering project requirements and financial reports.

  • Provide value-added analysis and drive continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Understand key businessunitoperating metrics and measure performance against established metrics.

  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting asrequired.

  • Enforce safety rules and procedures and ensure compliance with Gulfstream regulations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor ormaster's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related curriculum with a graduation date on or after May 2026.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel, PowerQueryand other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.

  • Strong communicationand analytical skills are essential.

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment anddemonstrateleadership initiative.

  • Must be able to work at least40 hoursper week for a minimum of12 weeks.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with aerospace industry financial practices.

    1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
    2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.
    3. Minimum duration: 12-14 weeks (summer); 14-16 weeks (spring and fall).
    4. Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
    5. Must have reliable transportation.
    This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
