Job Summary

Provides supervision of teller line to insure prompt, efficient, and friendly services to customer. Insures that the currency and coin requirements, limitations, regulations and provisions are maintained. Responsible for overall compliance with policies and procedures for this area, in accordance with the Bank and the supervisor's direction.

May act as back-up to the Teller Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Performs all teller duties when necessary to insure prompt customer service
  • Maintains proper cash level in drawers, keep cash secure, and maintain a high level of safety for the Bank. May service ATM according to schedule or need.
  • Completes CTR reports and suspicious activity reports
  • May secure, maintain and balance ATM and vault
  • Initiates and verifies incoming and outgoing money shipments
  • Insures compliance with all security procedures in the teller area
  • Supervises teller operations for accuracy, efficiency, and quality customer service
  • Assists with training for new employees
  • Develops and motivates staff to meet performance levels
  • Audits teller cash drawers and assists with locating errors or outages
  • Maintains all internal control logs and prepares various required reports
  • Maintains appropriate levels of available traveler's checks and cashier checks
  • Participates in a team effort to cross-sell bank and affiliate services
  • May performs duties of branch CSR on scheduled Saturday rotation
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of Teller or banking experience including opening new accounts
  • Prior management or supervisor role is a plus
