DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will report to the Policy, Planning & Training (PPT) Section Administrator, and is responsible for primary receptionist coverage for OVR Central Office. This position will also provide clerical and administrative support to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Specialists and the Section Administrator (as needed) in the PPT Division of OVR's Bureau of Central Operations (BCO). Included in this work is the following: answering and responding to calls, emails and voicemails and disseminating to appropriate parties; distribution of mail; processing of continuing education certificates; keeping minutes for various boards and committees; reviewing and updating OVR documents as requested to ensure accessibility; and redacting and filing monthly Customer Satisfaction Surveys. Responsible for accurate use of the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS), computer and Microsoft Office products, including the use of the Internet and e-mail.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: This position may be eligible to telework part time, upon successful completion of the training period. Specific details of the telework schedule will be discussed during the interview process. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,108 (before taxes). -

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
