Description

    Designing, developing, and implementing systems software solutions that meet DoD specifications and performance standards
  • Conducting thorough testing, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure software stability and optimal functionality
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems software with broader mission-critical applications and systems
  • Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance reports
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancements and implementing best practices

Requirements

  • Five plus years experience in a software developer role
  • One plus years experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • One plus years experience must include agile software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain systems software that adheres to DoD operational and security requirements
  • Proficient in system-level programming, utilizing languages such as C, C++, and/or Java for robust software development
  • Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and rigorous code testing to ensure software reliability and security
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) to streamline software delivery
  • Experience working within agile methodologies, enabling iterative development and rapid integration
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity frameworks to enhance the resilience of systems software
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system issues and recommend effective solutions

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
