Description

    Reviewing and applying engineering principles to develop, design, and modify systems, ensuring consistent operational readiness and compliance with DoD standards
  • Conducting detailed evaluations, tests, and troubleshooting of systems components to verify performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Compiling, analyzing, and organizing technical data into comprehensive reports and presentations for cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Providing technical expertise during installation, testing, and fielding of systems for communication, mechanical, or electronic applications
  • Collaborating with engineering and project management teams to execute design modifications, upgrades, and maintenance solutions in alignment with technical requirements

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in an engineering technician role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, design, modify, test, and evaluate complex mechanical, electronic, or communication systems in compliance with DoD specifications and standards
  • Skilled in conducting advanced tests and evaluations of systems equipment and components, and compiling detailed reports and technical data
  • Proficient in utilizing engineering tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions and ensure system performance optimization
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with advanced engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or SolidWorks) for drafting, modeling, and simulation tasks
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and resolve technical issues in field operations
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and process improvement methodologies to enhance system reliability and performance
  • Strong technical writing skills for preparing detailed documentation, including operational manuals and test protocols

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
