Description

    Leading the application of engineering techniques to design, develop, and modify electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems in alignment with DoD requirements
  • Conducting detailed evaluations, comprehensive testing, and root cause analyses to optimize system designs and ensure operational effectiveness
  • Organizing technical data into comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
  • Overseeing system installations, modifications, and upgrades, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and operational needs
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address system challenges and implement innovative solutions while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements

Requirements

  • Eight years experience in an engineering technician role
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying engineering techniques, principles, and practices to design, develop, test, evaluate, and modify complex systems, subsystems, or components
  • Skilled in compiling, analyzing, and preparing detailed technical data, reports, and presentations to inform decision-making and ensure compliance with DoD standards
  • Proficient in performing advanced tests and evaluations, troubleshooting critical system issues, and implementing corrective measures to improve system reliability and performance
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with advanced engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for system modeling and detailed design
  • Experience in leading engineering teams and mentoring junior technicians to foster collaboration and knowledge transfer
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and perform root cause analysis to resolve system design and performance challenges
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies to optimize engineering operations and design workflows

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
