Overview

Provide support to the Lateral Recruiting Manager and the Director of Legal Recruiting.



Responsibilities

    Coordinate recruiting of lateral associates in the New York office. Schedule screening and callback interviews for lateral candidates and resolve last minute conflicts/changes. Greet and walk candidates.
  • Manage applicant information and status updates in the firm's recruiting systems.
  • Prepare interview materials and assist in monitoring workflow and status of open searches.
  • Track interview and hiring statistics and data. Assist with year-end reports/surveys.
  • Communicate directly with legal search firms and candidates, and field general questions. Respond to employment inquiries and prepare/deliver offer and rejection letters. Coordinate travel arrangements for lateral associates and partners.
  • Assist with the offer process, including coordination with Conflicts and HR. Support pre-arrival communications and onboarding logistics. Provide administrative support to Lateral Recruiting Manager and Director of Legal Recruiting.
  • Assist with recruiting of lateral associates in the International Attorney Program and LLM hiring in London, including scheduling screening and callback interviews and collecting feedback.
  • Work on other projects as may be assigned from time to time.


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of law firm recruiting experience is required.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of ViRecruit a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range offered for this role will be between $70,000 to $85,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range. Actual base compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees, and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
