Position Summary :
The Senior Analyst of Strategic Business Planning will support the Director of Strategic Business Planning by executing specific projects contributing to the development and design of the Value Chain Network Footprint. Assigned projects will support commercial category plans (Bread, Buns and Rolls, Sweet Baked Goods, Breakfast, Salty Snacks, and/or Innovation) enabling BBU's transformation strategy. They will work across key functions (brand marketing, innovation, R&D, finance, manufacturing, distribution, sales) to obtain alignment on business assumptions and provide a recommended solution to the identified challenges.
Success will be measured by the identification, approval and implementation of specific projects that will deliver the optimal Value Chain Network Footprint.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze data to validate business assumptions and provide insights and recommendations
  • Translate asset project assignments to actionable plans and business cases
  • Manage projects that solve critical supply chain opportunities and risks, with a focus on manufacturing
  • Engage cross-functional partners to ensure execution of initiatives
  • Collaborate with individuals across multiple levels, functions, and geographies
  • Validate existing and future commercial brand category key priorities and growth assumptions
  • Clearly communicate project scope, objective, and requirements to required stakeholders to drive results
Position Requirements :

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management
  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
Ideal candidate will possess:
  • Three or more years of supply chain, finance, sales, or strategy experience (supply chain inclusive of manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or planning) in the food sales or relevant responsibilities in comparable industry
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, including strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to turn findings into executable plans
  • Strong written/oral communication skills, as well as the ability to influence others
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Occasional travel throughout BBU
