DLO Night Shift Pre-Analytical Assistant I

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Monday-Friday 9pm-5:30am

• Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
• Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities

The PAT I is responsible for general support functions within the Tech Ops Department. Functions performed may include but are not limited to data entry of test orders, presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory, centrifugation and aliquoting.

Job is complex and requires that employee have good organization skills and ability to learn and understand specimen types related to test(s) ordered by client. This position is critical to quality for customer satisfaction.

Required Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of computers with a preferred knowledge of laboratory testing and/or laboratory specimen processing.
• Ability to type 40-45 WPM is expected within this role.
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment.

Required Experience: No experience required but previous laboratory experience preferred.

Special Requirements: Should be able to work extra days/shifts as dictated by business need.
