Job Title: Addiction Treatment Program Coordinator - Young Adult Focus

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Addiction Treatment Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team under the supervision of the Director of Addiction Treatment. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in directing and coordinating the counseling and educational initiatives of our Addiction Treatment Program, specifically tailored to young adults in accordance with county contracts. Key Responsibilities:



  • Program Coordination: Oversee the scheduling and monitoring of appointments for adolescents, ensuring compliance with county contract guidelines and accurate documentation of communications.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships within the County monitoring team to enhance referral volume for the Young Adult County Program.
  • Therapeutic Support: Provide direct therapy to patients and their families, employing evidence-based techniques and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Patient Flow Management: Facilitate the flow of services for D4, D9, and level 1 patients within the unit and external facilities.
  • Program Development: Collaborate in the creation and implementation of innovative counseling and educational programs, including the use of audiovisual resources.
  • Public Speaking and Education: Deliver engaging lectures on addiction and recovery topics to both adult and adolescent populations as required.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate statistical reports and monthly SMART reports for county tracking.
  • Collaboration: Support group counselors with client assignments and discharge coordination, ensuring all necessary documentation and communications are addressed efficiently.
  • Staff Supervision: Assist in supervising Young Adult County staff, fostering professional development and ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Other Duties: Successfully address additional related responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Relevant degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in addiction treatment or counseling, particularly with young adults, is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to established policies and guidelines.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to best practices in addiction treatment.

Salary Range: Minimum 32.14/hour - Maximum 53.01/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
