Position Summary: The Distribution Associate reports to general supervision, but according to established policies and procedures, performs various duties under the functional areas of Order Fulfillment and Receiving. According to established policies and procedures, this role must maintain a clean and safe work environment. This position may operate manual material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks. Location: 5901 Holabird Avenue, Suite A, Baltimore MD Hours: 40 Hours (Full Time) Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 pm-8:00 pm Knowledge: Work requires inventory stocking and distribution Work Experience: Six months of professional work experience; related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility preferred. Skills: * Good communication skills in dealing with other employees and vendors * Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to type. * Sound problem-solving skills. * Ability to take direction and follow institutional guidelines and procedures * Ability to be flexible to meet schedule needs and handle frequent, unpredictable changes. * Ability to work as a committed team member by contributing positively, enthusiastically, engaged, and collaboratively. Education: Requires the ability to read at a minimum of an 8th-grade level, and mathematical ability of at least a 6th-grade level. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a G.E.D. Certificate preferred Required Licensure, Certification, etc.: (to be obtained by the 3rd year of employment): Successful completion of the GED or an External High School diploma program Salary Range: Minimum 16.40/hour - Maximum 27.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
