Job Summary:

The AI Senior Business Analyst is responsible for strategic planning and innovation work products through the analysis of external and internal business functions and process requirements. This role collaborates with stakeholders to develop roadmaps and conduct planning based on project and practice requirements. The incumbent conducts research on advancements in AI, digital transformation, and advanced process automation to recommend new solutions that meet client needs and position the firm advantageously. This position supports the development of tools, best practices, and project execution strategies to drive innovation and change.

Job Duties:

* Works with AI & Innovation team to establish scope, deliverables, and resource requirements

* Develops and executes comprehensive data and AI strategies to enhance customer experiences

* Conducts market research and gathers customer insights to drive product development; analyzes new solutions to determine fit gap with key use cases

* Documents user stories in product backlogs and performs regular backlog grooming for AI capabilities

* Collaborates with engineering teams to design, build, and refine AI-driven features and capabilities

* Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product vision alignment and drive successful execution

* Measures product performance and identifies opportunities for optimization and growth

* Implements metrics and KPIs to track the success of AI initiatives

* Articulates value proposition of new AI and technology features to stakeholders and prepares presentations for senior leaders

* Develops domain knowledge across various service lines (government services, energy, healthcare, etc.)

* Communicates milestones to stakeholders in a clear, accurate, and timely manner

* Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to drive adoption of new solutions

* Conducts needs assessments and requirements gathering while developing business process models to meet industry needs and client goals

* Coordinates across focus areas (industry/sector and IT) to support development of user stories and product design workshops

* Performs roadmap prioritization and multi-phase planning for new products and services

* Leads intake process and communicates product backlog progress, challenges, resolutions, and milestones to stakeholders

* Develops tools and best practices for project execution

* Performs cost benefit analysis and recommends solutions

* Manages multiple priorities, commitments, and projects using an Agile approach

* Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Serves as main team lead for other business analysts and sets the standards for requirements gathering (templates, processes, and/or approvals)

* Oversees the quality of the work of other business analysts to ensure a cohesive approach

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent, required

* Bachelor's degree, preferred; focus in data, technology, STEM, preferred

Experience:

* Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in data and/or AI technology business analysis, product management, and/or strategy, required

* Experience as an Agile practitioner collaborating across multi-disciplinary pods, required

* Previous hands-on experience with value stream mapping and predictive modeling, required

* Experience with roadmap prioritization and communicating benefits of new technology, required

* Experience with Lean Six Sigma and business process re-engineering, preferred

Certifications:

* Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification, preferred

* Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred

* Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred

* Certified Scrum Master, preferred

Software:

* Experience with AI/ML solutions, digital applications, and modern cloud-based platforms, required

* Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (e.g.,Confluence, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, Aha!, or Azure DevOps), required

* Experience with Visio, Miro, Mural, Figma, and other product design tools, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $115,000 - $145,000

Maryland Range: $115,000 - $145,000

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $115,000 - $145,000
