Maintenance Associate

• Perform routine building maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement, painting, minor drywall repairs, minor plumbing repairs, hanging art/shelves/TVs, and moving equipment or furniture.
• Promptly respond to maintenance emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose problems, determine their cause and scope, and implement appropriate repairs.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings and grounds, including lighting, HVAC plumbing, and other necessary repairs.
• Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Use common hand tools safely and effectively.
• Follow safety standards and standard maintenance procedures; recommend and document improvements.
• Maintain records in the asset management system and assist in forecasting replacements and upgrades

• Basic technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, carpentry, and room measurement.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, collaborating with managers as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diverse building maintenance issues.
• Good judgment regarding safety and quality decisions.
• Flexible and adaptable with an ability to prioritize competing tasks based on changing business needs while maintaining a positive attitude
• Clear and concise verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift experience preferred.
