Job Description:
What are the main functions of this role?
The Logistics Material Handler role will perform a wide variety of tasks related to the incoming, expediting, and outgoing of program and facility materials and equipment. These tasks will include but are not limited to:
* Receiving, picking, and shipping orders.
* Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
* Packaging, kitting, and transportation.
* Use of material handling equipment to include screw guns, strapping machines, etc.
* Working overtime as needed.
* Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

Required Experience and Skills:
* Obtain forklift certification.
* Able to lift 28 lbs.
* Computer skills to include data entry of received materials, entering shipping information, etc.
* Working in a warehouse, facility or other environment that requires attention to safety regulations.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
* U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skill Sets:
* Knowledge of the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS)
* Knowledge of PRISM
* Experience working in a logistics environment.

Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or associate degree and a minimum of two years relevant experience.
