Clinical Research Assistant (HS)

Job Description Summary

To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies in the Department of Anesthesiology with support from the non-cancer College of Medicine (COM) Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance amp; reporting of clinical research data.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelors Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience.

Desired Experience

2-4 years of research experience in a research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired

Preferred Skills

Experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

This is a patient facing position and is required to be onsite at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call hours may be required as needed.
