Our work is mission-critical, supporting the U.S. Navy and strengthening national security. Department 411 - Life Cycle Support Programs Life Cycle Support Programs is the program office for the Hull Planning Yard. In this capacity we are responsible for administering both the OMNIBUS and Spare Parts BOA contracts that provide life cycle support for all active-duty submarine classes. We oversee tasking to design system updates and upgrades, maintain configuration control, provide Integrated Logistics Support documentation, kit and manufacture shipboard alteration packages as well as deliver spare parts to the naval supply system. Role Overview As a D411 Fleet Material Support and Logistics Program Representative, you will manage a variety of tasks associated with material support for Ship Alterations. This cross-functional role collaborates with Finance, Purchasing, Planning, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing Trades, related Program Office roles, as well as groups outside the company such as our vendors and our customer. Key Responsibilities
Drive cost control, strategic planning & scheduling, and execute projects for various Navy customers
- Work with finance, materials management, and planning to generate shop orders, work orders, purchase requisitions, etc.
- Interface with Groton management of equivalent functions, with off-site project offices and contract representatives, and with various NAVSEA Program Offices
- Occasional travel is required (including Washington Engineering Office in Washington DC, vendor locations, and off-site EB locations
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Occasional travel is required (including Washington Engineering Office in Washington DC, vendor locations, and off-site EB locations
Preferred
- Associate's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with project management, project coordination, planning, scheduling, material coordination, or logistics
- Shipyard Experience supporting operations
- Experience working with Navy or DoD
