Contract Recruiter (Remote)
About the Role A high?volume, fast?paced recruiting team is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support hiring needs for operations and skilled?trade positions, including machinists and other technical roles. This position manages 17-20 requisitions at a time and plays a key role in partnering with hiring managers to meet ongoing staffing demands. This is a fully remote contract role reporting to the Corporate Recruiting Manager. What You'll Do Recruiting & Candidate Pipeline * Source and attract candidates for operations, machinist, and skilled?trade roles. * Post and promote job openings across social media, job boards, technical schools, and college career sites. * Manage job postings and candidate flow within the ATS (ADP; potential transition to Greenhouse). * Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate onsite interviews. * Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Hiring Manager Partnership * Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide regular updates on open roles. * Participate in weekly meetings to review requisition status and hiring priorities. * Gather and relay interview feedback, assessment results, and candidate recommendations. * Support offer decisions, internal approvals, and compensation discussions. * Present and negotiate written offers or non?selection notices. Process Management & Documentation * Maintain accurate records including job descriptions, candidate profiles, offer letters, and communication logs. * Coordinate interview logistics and ensure a smooth candidate experience. * Assist with onboarding and orientation activities as needed. * Participate in virtual and in?person recruiting events and job fairs. * Collaborate with the Corporate Recruiting Manager on process improvements and resource needs. What You Bring * Experience recruiting for operations, manufacturing, or skilled?trade roles. * Ability to manage a high requisition load in a fast?moving environment. * Strong communication skills and professional judgment. * Familiarity with ADP ATS; experience with Greenhouse is a plus. * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
