Convergint is seeking a full-time, highly motivated, results-driven, and forward-thinking Warehouse Supervisor to join our organization. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading warehouse personnel, overseeing materials and equipment inventory, and collaborating closely with the project and purchasing teams to support efficient and seamless project and service delivery.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Oversees warehouse operations, including shipping, and receiving of all project and service equipment. Ensures timely shipment, receipt, and inspection of materials, including verification for damage. Assigns and directs daily work activities and priorities.
  • Responsible for colleague training, performance management, goal setting, and safety compliance.
  • Reviews and processes timesheets in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of physical inventories, recordkeeping, and documentation, while maintaining timely and accurate reconciliation and reporting of all warehouse transactions.
  • Provides ongoing support to Project Managers, Program Managers and Account colleagues by ensuring required materials are accurately stocked, shipped on schedule, and that inventory records are updated and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for managing warehouse budget and helping to keep project and service costs in line through efficient utilization of personnel, materials and equipment.
  • Independently oversees the safe, efficient and effective operation of shipping and receiving activities, ensuring full compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Manages the return of job-related materials and inventory, ensuring proper assignment and return of equipment and materials for each project. Ensures materials are transferred correctly to support accurate job closeout procedures, with timely and precise documentation and recordkeeping.


  • Implement and maintains best practices for purchasing, shipping, receiving, data entry, pulling and staging material.
  • Oversees warehouse facility and ensure warehouse equipment, tools and systems are in safe and efficient working condition. Facilitate repair or replacement in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide backup support to other warehouse colleagues as required to ensure sufficient coverage.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.



What You'll Need



  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse inventory and facilities management principals and processes.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Must exhibit a strong financial background in budgets and control measures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Requirements



  • Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Experience: 5-7 years relevant warehousing or shipping/receiving

  • Preferred Experience: (but not required): Previous supervisory
