Description Franklin Hospital Nursing/Clinical Support Req #: 65957 Summary: The Apprentice - Medical Assistant role functions in a training capacity and works alongside a mentor in assisting the physicians/advanced practice practitioners in the care and treatment of patients and providing administrative support, while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Active enrollment and advancement with a grade of C or better in an approved Medical Assisting Apprenticeship Program required. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must be obtained prior to clinical training. NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
