SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating the care and safety of employees to promote the achievement of clinical, financial and organizational outcomes. Provides direct employee care based on occupational health principles. Provides direction to other team members to collaborate and perform occupational health services functions, to assist with maintaining these programs when needed by participating in necessary training to promote quality and excellence of care. Has an understanding of medical surveillance programs as directed by federal, state or professional organization regulations. Basic understanding of case management principles. Ability to manage employee referrals to internal and external providers and services. Basic understanding of employment laws governing regulatory and occupational health such as ADA, FML, Joint Commission and is able to assist in these programs. Basic understanding of laws governing Alcohol and Drug Testing per NIDA guidelines. Works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary health care team to optimize team and employee performance. Promotes improvement in Occupational Health Services and organizational systems to optimize employee care. Incorporates and operationalizes goals and objectives of Johns Hopkins Medicine.



Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Work Schedule: Days (2-3 days per week)

Who Should Apply:

* BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire

* Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required

* A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse

* Preferred experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Department, Outpatient or Urgent Care setting

* BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum 48.60/hour - Maximum 48.60/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
