The Retail Engagement Marketing and Merchandising (REMM) team is seeking a highly organized and proactive Contractor to support the Learning Platforms Lead. This role is critical in bridging the gap between current operations and future innovation. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of our existing learning ecosystem while acting as a key project manager for the migration and rollout of a new Learning Management System (LMS). This position impacts the learning and development experience of over 80,000 users in Retail Stores and Retail Customer Care (RCC) globally. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, possesses the organizational skills of a project manager, and maintains the high quality standards expected of deliverables.

In this role, you will wear two hats: Operations and Project Management. You will partner closely with the Learning Platforms Lead to ensure the stability of current systems, handling escalations, content publishing, and user support. Simultaneously, you will drive the tactical execution of our migration strategy, ensuring that timelines are met, requirements are documented, and the new system is rigorously tested before deployment. You will work with a cross-functional team including Retail Tech, IS&T, creative producers, and global partners. You must be able to positively and proactively partner with multiple teams, often with limited direction, to unblock issues and keep the migration moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Migration (New LMS):

  • Manage detailed project timelines and trackers for the migration to the new LMS, ensuring milestones are met on schedule.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles: identify system enhancements, write test cases, log defects, and validate fixes with Retail Tech and IS&T.
  • Assist in defining requirements that promote scalability and intuitive UI for the new platform.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including platform playbooks, technical specs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the new system.
  • Partner with Store Operations and field teams to support the rollout strategy and change management efforts.

Day-to-Day Operations & Maintenance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for content escalations and platform issues for the current Learning platform.
  • Support content creators in REMM, and RCC by troubleshooting publishing issues and validating their work.
  • Manage day-to-day publishing activities, balancing competing business priorities to ensure on-time delivery of training materials.
  • Compile and analyze data/usage metrics to identify trends and report on system health to the Platforms leadership.

Key Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital project management, platform operations, or learning technology.
  • LMS Experience: Deep familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience with migration projects is a strong plus.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables. Experience using project management tools (e.g., Radar, Jira, Asana, Keynote) is essential.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to converse fluently with technical teams (IS&T, Engineers) and translate business needs into technical requirements. Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Quality Control: High attention to detail-the ability to spot pixelimperfect designs or logic gaps in user flows.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate status updates, risks, and blockers to stakeholders.
  • Agility: Flexibility to deal with rapidly changing, time-constrained launch schedules and ambiguity.
  • Team Player: A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a sincere willingness to learn and collaborate with team members at all levels.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
