The Leidos Digital Modernization (DigMod) Sector is seeking interns who are passionate about helping our customers solve vexing challenges involving the rapidly changing spectrum of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT).

A significant amount of work will be performed at our Leidos Offices in Reston, VA; and the position will have a hybrid work (headquarters work and remote work) schedule. This is not a remote position.

As a DigMod Practice Area (PA) Intern, each intern will be assigned a specific focus area and associated Sector Sponsor such as Strategy support, Technical support, or Practice support. The DigMod Practice Area (PA) includes six (6) interrelated Practices of Application Modernization (App Mod), Cloud & Data Center, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), Digital Experience, Information Advantage, and Networking, and four (4) support functions of BD/Growth Operations, Marketing & Communications, Technical Development and Partnerships Management.

Each intern will work in coordination with their respective Sector Sponsor to establish daily routine, Leidos meetings participation, training curriculum, and focus-area specific activities.

We are looking for an inquisitive and curious mindset that understands the nature of business motions involving external partnerships and the technology offerings of select partnerships. Project management skills with an affinity for Information Technology (IT) is essential to a successful internship. This is the ideal role if you are looking for the opportunity to work on innovative projects with enterprise potential impact and an appreciation for the high speed of technology change.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designated sponsor to define and execute an internship project(s) to support the progress of the Practice Area organization.

  • Support day to day activities of Practice Area personnel as they develop, package, and sell repeatable offerings

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in a related field of study

  • Experience with/understanding of IT concepts

  • Experience with/understanding of basic business and strategic principles

  • Independent research and project management abilities

  • US citizenship required

Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
