Job Description A Day in the Life of a NCT Oversite Technical ReviewerThe Oversite Function provides claims guidance, quality assurance, and focused claim audits, including full file audits, partial file audits, and payment audits. The team also delivers analysis, training, and oversite to Field Claims operations. Catastrophe claims arise from events such as hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, and other man-made catastrophes and may include auto, commercial, flood, and property losses. As part of the NCT Oversite Technical Team and under limited supervision, this role is responsible for monitoring and providing oversight of claims handled by contingent workers and NCT Staff adjusters from initial report through final disposition. The Consultant provides guidance on investigations, evaluates coverage, liability, and damages, reviews claim valuations, and issues settlement or denial authority on moderate losses that exceed individual adjuster or contingent worker administrative manager authority.
