What You Will Do:

This position primarily provides support to the Program Directors of the National College of Education programs operating within the Florida Campus including Educational Leadership, Master of Arts in Teaching, and School Psychology programs. This position also provides support to the Campus Administrators including the Executive Director and Dean of Florida Programs. Primary responsibilities include state and accreditation reporting for all NCE Florida programs, supporting program calendar development and scheduling, and provides clerical support.



Essential Responsibilities

    Data management and reporting for NCE Florida Programs including annual accreditation and approval reports for each program, collection and management of student data including outreach for post-graduation employment information, and management of state certification exam reports
  • Materials management for the School Psychology program including secure testing materials.
  • Scheduling support including development of Cohort Calendars for Educational Leadership and Master of the Arts in Teaching programs as needed.
  • Workflow management of course adjustments and assignment of course reference numbers prior to each term.
  • Calendar management for reporting deadlines for all Florida Education Programs.
  • Administrative support for Campus Administrators including supplemental contract workflow, calendar management, and clerical support as needed
  • Reception desk support as needed.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required plus a minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; Or an equivalent of education- Associate Degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience required in administrative support, program coordination, academic operations, or data management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and data entry
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting educator preparation programs, accreditation processes, or state reporting.
  • Experience with academic scheduling workflows, course builds, or catalog systems.
  • Prior experience supporting multiple leaders or units simultaneously.

The salary range of the grade for this position is $19.71 to $27.60 per hour (typical workweek is 37.5 hours). Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to: budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
