The Enrollment Counselor is part of a team responsible for the overall operation and management of recruitment and enrollment activity for Online students (i.e., Recruitment, Pre-enrollment Counseling, Next Steps Center, New Student Orientation). Enrollment Counselors strive to provide each Online student with a welcoming experience that assists in building their connection to the university and establishing their identity as a member of the Wildcat Family. The Enrollment Counselor will provide logistical and personnel support for the enrollment of Online undergraduate students. | Duties & Responsibilities |
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute
effective pipeline management of around 175-200 students following a prescribed call, email, and text (SMS) outreach plan. - Update
and maintain a database of students' information by effectively using Arizona Online's customer relationship management system (Slate), automated phone system (Genesys Cloud Dialer), and other systems required for the position. - Participate
in daily call campaigns to prospective students. - Guide
qualified students through Arizona Online's application, admissions, and enrollment processes. - Inform
and counsel students about services available and assess their student needs. - Prioritize
student outreach depending on each student's needs, time of year, and team objectives. - Aid
and support new hires via shadowing. Sharing best practices and processes. - Schedule
workflow to ensure availability to students and completion of all daily responsibilities. - Make
recommendations to leadership to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Meet
with supervisor to review performance, obtain feedback on areas of growth, and recognize accomplishments. - Participate
in coaching sessions to assess position skills. - Participate
in weekly team meetings to learn what is new, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members. - Opportunity
to assist in recruiting new students by participating in promotional and recruitment events. - Collaborate
within and outside of the department to support students and the overall growth of Arizona Online. - Additional
duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Enthusiastic personality with an affinity for teamwork and collaboration.
- Self-motivated, strategic, flexible, and able to work on multiple tasks with changing priorities as needed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Ability to work comfortably on the phone/headset for extended periods of time.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Experience recruiting in higher education.
- 6+ months call center experience in an inbound and outbound --environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
