How you will make an impact

The Senior Specialist 2, IT Business Analyst supports the NetSuite ERP implementation during and post-go-live. This role is instrumental in driving NetSuite functionality in alignment with business requirements, assisting User Acceptance Testing during the implementation phase, and post launch with continuous improvement, managing enhancement requests, and ensuring alignment with Finance and cross-functional partners. The Senior Specialist 2, IT Business Analyst delivers results through business analysis, project management, and ERP systems implementation, with a focus on NetSuite.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as the main liaison between Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and IT for NetSuite-related issues and enhancements, ensuring system capabilities align with business needs

  • Monitor system performance and user adoption and proactively identify areas for optimization

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for future enhancements

  • Facilitate prioritization and submission of enhancement requests through the Change Advisory Board (CAB)

  • Track and manage enhancement lifecycle from intake to deployment

  • Lead small to medium-sized NetSuite-related projects, including upgrades, integrations, and module rollouts

  • Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones

  • Support all planned NetSuite releases, including sandbox testing, impact analysis, and communication of changes. collaborating with NetSuite admins and developers to validate release readiness

  • Conduct training and create documentation for new features and processes

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field of study, with at least 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in ERP systems, and at least 2 years focused on NetSuite (An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)

  • Strong background in business analysis and project management (PMP or Agile certification a plus)

  • Experience supporting multi-functional processes (P2P, R2R, O2C, D2B)

  • Familiarity with NetSuite release cycles, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and integrations

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries is preferred

  • Knowledge of GxP compliance, SOX compliance, GRC, and audit support in ERP environments is preferred

  • Familiarity with Freshservice, Smartsheet, or similar tools for change and project tracking is preferred

The most likely base pay range for this position is $116K - $162K per year. Several factors, such as experience, tenure, skills, and particular business needs, will determine an individual's exact level of compensation. Base salary is only one element of employee compensation at Halozyme. Total compensation could include bonuses, sales incentives, and equity awards.
