Position Summary

At Gates, we welcome challenges, celebrate hard work, and continually seek new talent to join our global company. Our Denver office is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst.



The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the Treasury operations of Gates Corporation and will report to the Assistant Treasurer. The primary responsibilities will be to support foreign exchange risk management, debt servicing, capital structure analysis and liquidity management. In addition, the Senior Treasury Analyst will facilitate various policy and compliance procedures as well as global cash investment management and other projects. This position will work closely with other functions such as Tax, Accounting, Corporate Development, Investor Relations and Legal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Foreign Exchange Risk Management



  • Execute FX hedging with relationship banking partners
  • Work with global business units to understand and analyze embedded FX risk
  • Produce monthly and quarterly FX reporting for the FP&A and business unit controller teams
  • Execute FX trades to support monthly netting process



Debt Management and Capital Structure



  • Prepare presentations for senior management, board of directors and the credit rating agencies
  • Build long term capital structure financial models with input from FP&A, Tax, Accounting and business units
  • Provide treasury support to the accounting team for 10-K/10-Q reporting
  • Develop analysis to support liability management
  • Support issuance or refinancing of term loans, bonds and other types of financing
  • Support Letter of Credit and Guarantee issuance process and required documentation



Liquidity Management, Investments and Treasury Operations



  • Manage the intercompany loan process with input from tax, accounting and legal
  • Monitor global liquidity and ensure liquidity across the global banking structure
  • Work closely with tax and legal on legal entity structure and inter-company funding
  • Utilize corporate wide applications such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and GGP
  • Manage treasury workstation (Kyriba), Bloomberg and banking portals
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Facilitate treasury activities including wire transfers and ACH payments
  • Work closely with regional controllers, accounting, tax and IT to establish and maintain bank account structures and evaluate opportunities to improve business process
  • Invest excess cash within investment policy to optimize interest income



Compliance



  • Support the know your customer (KYC) process and compliance with Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FinCEN and other regulatory requirements
  • Support internal and external auditor walkthroughs and audit reviews for treasury responsibilities



Other Responsibilities



  • Support acquisitions and divestitures from a treasury perspective
  • Assist in the production of Treasury related board reports and investor relations materials
  • Develop ad hoc and specialized treasury reports as needed
  • Support special projects as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between Treasury, IT, Tax, Accounting, FP&A and other organizations

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business; MBA would be a plus but not required
  • 8+ years of Treasury, FP&A, Financial analysis, Accounting or Auditing experience
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation would be a plus but not required
  • Experience with Kyriba or other Treasury Management System would be a plus but not required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong team player, proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed
  • High level of interpersonal skills and must be able to work across levels and locations within the company
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

    • Full-Time
    • Bonus Eligible: 10%
