As part of the Legal team for Garver, the Real Estate Architect will manage and produce all space plans, pricing plans, construction documents, furniture plans, as-builts, and safety plans for Garver offices across the country.


This role will work closely with Garver's Real Estate Manager for approval, stamping drawings and sign off on costs spent.


This individual can work from one of our 60+ office locations, or remotely ( preferably in our 22-state footprint ).


Responsibility will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to:


  • Manage updates to Garver standard selections (interior finishes, fixtures and appliances) noted in the Real Estate Playbook.
  • Manage and produce all drawings in AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Manage the inventory of all floor plans, Staff Assignment PDFs, and Safety Plans.
  • Manage the Furniture Procurement process of the active real estate project.
  • Submit and manage the permitting process on construction projects.
  • Manage coordination efforts to procure and install building signage, interior signage and directory signage at each location.
  • Participate or lead OAC Calls throughout construction.
  • Update drawing files as needed for Garver's real estate Inventory of floor plans, furniture, equipment, and other assets.


In addition, this role will include coordination with third party Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing consultants as needed. Minimal travel to annual company events may be required.


Abilities and attributes needed for this position:


  • Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revu Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Ability to maneuver and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Heightened attention to detail.
  • Keen awareness of grammatical and formatting structures.
  • Commitment to maintaining heightened confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Perform well under pressure.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in architecture with 5 years of experience in commercial architecture OR commercial building drafting certification with 10-15 years of experience in commercial architecture
  • Ability to generate drawings and digital imagery needed for design discussions.
  • Ability to generate construction documents.
  • Ability to conduct necessary code research to create code compliant solutions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams
  • Licensed Architect (preferred)
