What to Expect
The Equipment Maintenance Planner will support the Mobile Equipment Maintenance and Engineering teams. The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity, on-time completion of departmental projects, and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, and material. Maintenance Planners will deploy inventory strategies, be responsible for product change and associated parts planning implications, manage and solve exceptions, and drive supplier execution. This role involves daily management of supply and constraints, status reporting and escalation, vendor engagement and the relentless pursuit of operational excellence and continuous improvement. This individual will act as a key liaison between Production Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure value added, critical sustaining work is done with a high degree of efficacy and professionalism.

What You'll Do
  • Perform take-off analysis of engineering drawings to nest materials and minimize waste
  • Utilize internal procurement process, create purchase orders and manage estimated arrival times
  • Responsible for the inbound material schedule and reconciliation of delivered goods
  • Support onboarding and qualifying new suppliers to ensure operational excellence and compliance with established supply chain processes and policies
  • Support spare parts management; and assist with procuring, searching, itemizing, and controlling critical spare parts lists, inventorying, and engaging with internal Spares and Engineering teams to ensure maintenance teams have up-to-date spares inventories; and track consumption trends for areas of concern
  • Communicate job plans to the Supervisors, Engineers, and maintenance team prior to start of project, shutdown, or extended downtime
  • Manage Work Order backlogs, track work order aging, and communicate planned and ready backlogs to owning Supervisors and Techs

What You'll Bring
  • Preferred 3 years' experience in manufacturing, fabrication, finance, supply chain management or related field
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze data to enable operational decision-making or present clear recommendations to leadership
  • Working knowledge of fabrication techniques and reading blueprints or engineering drawings
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality / quantity
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals
  • Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

    Expected Compensation
    $80,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
