What to Expect Tesla is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Automated Systems Technician to join our growing team. You will work alongside Manufacturing, Equipment, Controls, Test, and Process Engineers to support the development, prototyping, commissioning, and continuous improvement of a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, from product testers, to PLC integrated automation, to pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic integrated systems. You will use your mechanical, electrical, and PLC knowledge on a daily basis to collaborate with cross-functional team members to help the organization realize its goals of production line commissioning, capacity expansion, safety enhancement, and process improvement. This is a hands-on position working with tools, parts, and production equipment. You will operate both individually and in team dynamics, and must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with all team members.
