Summary of the Job:

This role will support the fixed income investment team, primarily with respect to middle-office functions (post-execution trade entry, documentation, settlement), trading, reporting and research.

About This Role:

Update and maintain fixed income analytics system (BondEdge, Bloomberg, etc).

Ensure accuracy of daily security import files and scheduled reports, address import errors and other data issues as they arise. artner with portfolio manager(s) to gather data and run necessary reporting to complete quarterly marketing and compliance requests (strategy factsheets, checklists, pitchbooks, etc.)

Provide middle-office trade support for fixed income team.

Responsible for entering post-execution trade allocations, processing trade tickets, and capturing required trade documentation (eg, best execution).

Partner with portfolio manager(s) to execute trades as requested (US Treasury and liquid corporate bonds)

Serve as primary point-of-contact for Taxable Fixed Income Strategy (TFIS) and one-off fixed income trade requests from Wealth Management.

Organize and prioritize requests and partner with portfolio manager(s) to execute trades Collaborate with Wealth Operations on trade settlement issues

  • Connect with back-office staff at broker-dealers and custodians to settle trades
  • Ensure broker/dealers have up-to-date delivery instructions
  • Provide updated trade details (post-execution) when and as necessary

Conduct initial research on individual securities, industries and macro-economy as needed/requested

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, streamline workflows, maintain compliance with regulatory compliance, ensure accurate trade execution and timely reporting.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail by reconciling trade records, ensuring accuracy in fixed income transactions and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities by critical deadlines, managing trade reconciliations and reporting deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interest in the investment industry, leveraging analytical skills and financial knowledge to contribute to the team and client success.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, streamline workflows, maintain compliance with regulatory compliance, ensure accurate trade execution and timely reporting.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail by reconciling trade records, ensuring accuracy in fixed income transactions and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities by critical deadlines, managing trade reconciliations and reporting deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interest in the investment industry, leveraging analytical skills and financial knowledge to contribute to the team and client success.

  • Bachelor's degree with preferred emphasis in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.

(Associate's Degree may be acceptable depending on other credentials and work experience)

Salary Range: $46,679-$77,020.

Compensation range (base pay): $46,679.00-$77,020.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
