Risk Management and Mission Assurance Specialist

The Opportunity:

AdvanceourBusinessAssurance Office (BAO)programwith an emphasis ondata analytics,incidentmanagement,and crisis management functions.Providesubject matterexpertiseto ourstakeholders on all phases ofincident response, includingplan development,Testing,Training, and Exercises,and performance metrics.Respond toand managerecoveryteams throughdisasters, crisis, and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations.Ensure thatrobust, action-orientedand exercisableemergencyplans existacross our global footprint.Leverage yourhigh-qualityinterpersonal skills to form strong and trusted partnerships with allstakeholders.Support incidentresponse and coordinate and manage Incident Command Teams through disasters and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations. Support theCrisisManagement program byassistingin the development and implementation of strategies to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of crises,including support of evacuation plans.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship isrequired.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience managing or supportingan incident managementprogram for a private sector organization

  • Experience developing,testing,andmaintainingemergency responseplans

  • Experience developing,gathering,and reporting onincident responseperformance metrics

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel formulasor Salesforce administration

  • Experience creating cross-functional relationships within the globally dispersed Incident Command Team program

  • Knowledge of all phases of the Business Continuity lifecycle,including incident and crisis managementandfacilitatingtraining on incident response

  • Knowledge of mass emergency communication tools and best practices such as Everbridge,AlertMedia,or Crisis24

  • Ability to work within an on-call rotation schedule for crisis responseand facilitatetabletop and functional exercises

  • Ability to effectively present in front of employees at all levels of theorganization, includingsenior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree inPolitical Science, International Relations,Risk Management, or Emergency Management

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of process improvement principles and methods

  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects

  • Ability to work evenings or weekends in response to business interruption events

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
