Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement the CAP academic vision, goals, and long-term strategies.
  • Lead CAP academic planning, program development, and evaluation to ensure relevance, quality, and innovation.
  • Ensure alignment of the CAP programs with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and institutional mission.
  • Monitor trends in education to guide strategic decision-making.

Curriculum & Instruction

  • Oversee curriculum design, assessment, and continuous improvement across all departments.
  • Promote high-quality teaching, learning, and research practices.
  • Implement data-driven academic improvements and instructional technologies.
  • Ensure the CAP academic programs meet the needs of students and industry partners.

Faculty Recruitment & Development

  • Supervise the CAP faculty hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and professional development.
  • Support faculty research, scholarship, and advancement.
  • Foster a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Accreditation & Compliance

  • Lead the CAP and program-level accreditation processes.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing academic operations.
  • Prepare required reports and documentation for regulatory and accreditation bodies.

Student Success & Support

  • Collaborate with student services to enhance student engagement, retention, and completion.
  • Oversee policies related to advising, assessment, and the CAP support services.
  • Ensure accessibility, inclusion, and equity in the CAP programs.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage the CAP affairs budget.
  • Oversee allocation of resources, including staffing, technology, labs, and the CAP facilities.
  • Identify and support opportunities for grants, partnerships, and external funding.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as a key member of the Enterprise APP leadership team.
  • Collaborate with department chairs, the Chief Academic Office, and executive leaders to drive the CAP goals.
  • Communicate the CAP academic initiatives, expectations, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Represent the institution in external academic forums and partnerships.
